6500# Gas Stock Street Class - (Pays 5 - $150, $100, $50, $30, $20)
8000# Stock Diesel and Altered Gas - (Pays 5 - $200, $125, $75, $45, $30)
9500# Open Class - (Pays 5 - $325, $200, $100, $60, $40)
Sled Pull Rules
- All General apply.
- Contestants must be at least 18 years old or 16 with a parent or guardians consent.
- All participants are required to wear seatbelts and helmets.
- Any vehicles with the engine running must have an operator in the driver’s seat at all times.
- All vehicles must be operated in a safe manner at all times while in the confines of the track, pits, staging and
parking areas.
- Judges have the right and obligation to stop and disqualify any vehicle being operated in an unsafe manner.
- Drivers must remain seated during pull and must be in complete control at all times.
- Use of profanity or threats by any puller or members of their pit crew or entourage toward any official or
sponsor shall be cause for suspension of said puller for a period of one year and ten days.
- No one is allowed on the track except track officials and contestants. The track is defined as an area within
15 feet in any direction of the contest course boundaries.
- Contestants from each class will draw numbers with the lowest number pulling first and the remaining
pullers following in ascending number order. The first or (test) puller in each class will have the option to
take their first pull or drop to 4th pull position.
- All pullers must weigh at the scales provided by the sponsoring organization and abide by the weight shown
on those scales. No adding of fuel or other liquids after weigh in.
- All vehicles must pull onto and leave the track under their own power as directed by the track officials.
- Pullers have the option to have the sled spotted on the starting line where ever they desire as long as they
notify the judge in sufficient time as the sled returns to the starting line from the previous pull.
- All vehicles will be in park or neutral with the driver’s hands in the air during all hooking and unhooking.
- All pulls must start with a tight hitch. No jerking allowed. All vehicles must have a workable reverse but can
be rolled to or from the sled only in the case of a mechanical failure.
- Contestants must pull at the position drawn within 3 minutes from the time the sled is in readiness. Any
delay will mean disqualification. The judges may drop a contestant having mechanical problems to a later
position.
- Pull will begin anytime after the track officials have given the green flag or light.
- If the vehicle goes out of bound it is disqualified.
- Any weights or safety equipment lost while hooked to the sled will be cause for disqualification.
- Entrants will be allowed a second pull if the first pull does not exceed 75 feet. (If the driver attempts to stop
within this distance but goes further to avoid being hit by the sled they will be allowed a second pull).
- Vehicles must stop immediately upon signal from the flagman or light. The pull shall be considered over
when forward motion stops. Any driver continuing to pull after the signal will be disqualified.
- In the event of a pull off, a floating finish line will be used with each driver pulling as far as they can with
each being measured.
- Violation of any rules may be cause for disqualification. All decisions of the judges are final.
6500# Gas Stock Street Class
- Must be street legal and have a current registration and licensed.
- Pump gas, Racing Fuel and Propane only. No fuel enhancers or accelerators allowed. No Alcohol or
Nitrous Oxide.
- Factory drive train (Ladder Bars are allowed). Engine must be installed in the vehicle in a stock
configuration.
- Open exhaust is allowed, but an exhaust manifold or header of some type must be used and may not
terminate through the hood.
- Single feed carburetor only. (No dual feed). No dual carburetors or dominator style carburetors.
- All springs must be installed and all brakes must function properly.
- Must have a full factory body (flat beds are allowed). Tailgate may be removed. No cutting of the body or
firewall (trimming of fender wells to allow for tire clearance is allowed). OEM fiberglass parts are
acceptable. All glass must be intact.
- No gutting of the interior. Must have a factory dash and working seatbelts. Aftermarket racing seats are
acceptable.
- No fuel tanks, fuel cells or batteries in the cab, unless it is a stock configuration.
- Weight brackets are allowed. Weight brackets must be secured to the frame and the weights must be
secured to the brackets. Weight brackets and weights may not exceed 60” from the center of the front axle.
- No liquid weight allowed.
- 26” hitch height or less. Hitch point must be past the frame rails or bed. Must pull off of a bumper or Reese
style hitch (bumpers are not required). 3” to 3½” opening. No vertical hitches. Hitches must be
installed prior to weigh in. Be sure hitches are secured well enough to pull.
- DOT uncut tires only. Rear factory style dual tires are allowed.
8000# Stock Diesel and Altered Gas
- Must be street legal and have a current registration and licensed.
- Gas Trucks: Pump gas, Racing Fuel and Propane only. No fuel enhancers or accelerators allowed. No
Alcohol or Nitrous Oxide. Diesel Trucks: Diesel Fuel only No Water Injection, Alcohol, Propane,
or Nitrous Oxide.
- Diesel trucks may use any performance chip. Factory turbo chargers only. No spacers, adapters or turbo
alterations. Period!
- Factory drive train (Ladder Bars are allowed). Engine must be installed in the vehicle in a stock
configuration.
- Open exhaust is allowed, but an exhaust manifold or header of some type must be used and may not
terminate through the hood.
- Single carburetors only (dual feed and dominator style allowed).

9500# Open Class
- Any truck or funny car style truck.
- Must have a body surrounding the driver’s compartment.
- Single engines only.
- No engine restrictions.
- No fuel restrictions.
- Engines with blowers must have blower straps. Must have a substantially constructed firewall between engine and the driver’s compartment.
- Any engine turning 6000 RPMs or more must have a blow proof bell housing and transmission blanket.
- Nitrous Oxide burning vehicles must have a fuel shut-off valve within the drivers reach when buckled in.
- Any vehicle not burning Gasoline or Diesel must have the fuel type clearly marked on the rear of the vehicle.
- Maximum wheel base of 150”.
- Must have a full cab or full roll protection.
- All vehicles that are not stock configuration or are burning exotic fuels must have a rear mounted pull type
kill switch.
- Must have a working 2 brake system (front and rear).
- All batteries must be in a box and securely fastened.
- All fuel tanks or cells must be securely fastened and properly vented.
26” hitch height or less. Hitch point must be past the frame rails or bed. Must pull off of a bumper or Reese
style hitch (bumpers are not required). 3” to 3½” opening. No vertical hitches. Hitches must be
installed prior to weigh in. Non stock vehicles may use other hitch configurations as long as they
meet the above height and opening requirements. Be sure hitches are secured well enough to
pull.
- Any cut DOT, Paddle Scoop or Tractor tires are allowed.
Pull officials will classify pullers and reserve the right to disqualify any vehicle deemed to be
unsafe.
